Meet The Maker

Glow was founded by Emily in 2015 after visiting an interiors fair where she found herself uninspired by generic, mass produced lighting that lacked character and individuality. Drawing on years of experience within the lighting industry, Emily set out to create something more meaningful. Lighting that is not only functional, but carefully designed and expertly crafted in Britain. A true alternative to mass produced lighting, designed with quality and longevity in mind.

Handcrafted in Britain

Every glass shade has been thoughtfully designed by Emily, handblown by Aaron and handcrafted by Joseph in our Yorkshire studio. Crafted in small, made to order batches, each piece celebrates traditional artisan techniques and true craftsmanship. We warmly welcome visitors to our showroom and workshop, where you can experience the process first hand. The result is bespoke glass lighting, created for considered interiors.

Every design is created to feel uniquely yours. Choose from 13 glass shade colours, 30 cable options and 7 metal finishes to tailor your lighting to suit your space. Whether styled as a single pendant, a statement cluster or paired with coordinating wall lights, each piece can be curated to complement your interiors. We are a small and experienced team, passionate about offering a genuinely personal service from beginning to end. Working closely with homeowners, interior designers, architects and commercial teams, helping every client achieve the perfect lighting solution for their space. We do far more than simply ship products. Every piece is handcrafted with care and thoughtfully packaged, because how your lighting arrives is just as important to us as how it is made.
